The organising committee of Paschim Odisha Parivaar - Mumbai is thankfull to each & every member who participated in Pushpuni 2010 Bhetghat on 17th evening and making it successful.
We also request you all who missed the function due to various reasons, to participate in the Nuakhai 2010 and make it a grand event.
The minutes of the function is as under :
1. Started with chanting of Ganesh & Saraswati Vandana by Shri Champak Tripathy (Our in-house Panditji).
2. Two minute silence was observed in memory of Late Shri Ishwara Sarangi (F/o Smt. Sushama Pradeep Panda, Rabi & Suraj Sarangi) and Late Shri Muralidhar Pujari (F/o Smt. Mitra Manoj Guru) who passed away recently.
3. The organising committee try to organise the Nuakhai bhetghat on the next Sunday of actual Nuakhai and it is decided to organise Pushpuni bhetghat on the 2nd Sunday of actual Pushpuni. Thisis accepted by all the members present in the function.
4. New members introduced each other and gave their best performance to entertain the audience.
5. Shri Premchand Mahapatra (Mantu) & his team entertained the audience with Sambalpuri bhajans & Folk Songs, Dhol & Jokes. The entire POP Family danced to the tune of Sambalpuri songs with the Dhol.
6. One member Shri Prakash Mahanand has opened a blogsite for POP Mumbai and all are requested to use it. The address is ( http://popmumbai.blogspot.com ). Pl. send your comments to the new email address Email: popmumbai@gmail.com . Dhanyabaad Shri Mahanand for the initiative.
7.All enjoyed the tasty dinner.
Let us make the Nuakhai 2010 a grand event making it the best since the modest begining in 2007.
